"Mathematics 1: Analysis and Algebra" of the first semester; in common base, in the field of Science and Technology of Hydrocarbons (STH). It aims to provide students with the content of the entire first semester to level the students' skills upon entering the university. This manuscript is intended for first-year undergraduate students in the fields of STH, as well as anyone else in
need of basic tools in analysis and linear algebra. The concepts covered in this course are
fundamental and widely used in the field of science and technology; they form the basic
knowledge that a first-year student must acquire.
