This course provides a comprehensive introduction to petroleum drilling, combining geological knowledge with practical drilling operations. Students will learn about drilling systems, hoisting, circulation, rotation, power, and safety, as well as drilling fluids, tools, and Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) design. By the end of the course, students will be able to plan, analyze, and optimize drilling operations safely and efficiently.
